Traditional design is helping to usher in new traditions in this breathtaking English inspired dining room. A Susan Harter Wallmural of the English countryside sweeps across the focal wall, transporting those around the table to a soft and serene land. The walls are painted a soft blue-green, perfectly complimenting the mural and creating an inviting atmosphere. The high gloss finish to the moulding, wall brackets, and ceiling add an unexpected and fresh pop to the tone-on-tone room. The table is set with a mixture of new place settings and antique stemware, silver trays, and candelabras. A vintage Turkish rug dawning a repeating variation of a Greek Key pattern is soft under foot and a sturdy backdrop to the shuffling of dinner chairs. White Silk drapes with metallic leaf patterned trim usher in the sunlight while the Lucite rectangular curtain rod is a simple, updated statement itself. Staffordshire Dogs, cut crystal Rose Bowls, and iron plant stands on tall acrylic bases add unique and interesting focal points. The antique inspired chandelier is the jewel on top, casting a warm glow that cascades through the glass beads on brass frame.

The client wanted a space that was a fresh take on traditional where she and her family could create their own memories and traditions. This room will host a lot of life for years to come!
